Water tank with stirring unit
Description
Area of production
The present invention relates to a water container comprising a stirring unit for stirring a liquid located in the liquid container.
The reason for the creation
In connection with water contamination, it is known to use different water treatment methods. More than 50 years ago, Austrian inventor Viktor Schauberger described that a stirring device shaped like a maple seed can be used to create a particular vortex in a liquid and that vortex is used to treat the liquid, e.g. to reduce the concentration of certain substances.
Thus, a number of water containers are provided with a stirring unit positioned and arranged to provide stirring of a liquid placed in the liquid container to create a vortex having a beneficial effect on the quality of the liquid, including the concentration of ingredients. However, in the known solutions, it is only possible to use a fixed agitation rate and agitation time.
Examination indicates that the nature of the stirring is of paramount importance for the quality of the liquid and that there are examples where different stirring rates and / or stirring times should be used for maximum effect.
Therefore, it is desirable to improve the known types of water containers equipped with a stirring unit so that various purposes can be honored through the use of a single water container.
DK 2019 00005 U1
Purpose of creation
The present object of the present invention is to provide an improved water container equipped with a stirring unit so that different purposes can be honored through the use of a single water container.
The object of the present invention is achieved with a water container as defined in claim 1. Preferred embodiments are defined in the subclaims and are explained in the following description and illustrated in the accompanying figures.
Summary review of the production
The object of the present invention is achieved with a water container comprising a stirring unit for stirring a liquid placed in the water container, the water container comprising:
- an open container structure,
- a lid adapted to at least partially enclose the opening in the open container structure,
- an electric motor connected to the agitator, wherein the water tank comprises an adjustable control unit adapted to control and change the agitator speed of the agitator.
Hereby, it is possible to provide an improved water container which can be regulated in a manner which allows the stirring unit to be controlled and changed so that the liquid can be treated in different ways (using different stirring periods of optional length and stirring speed). Thus, it is possible to treat fluid with different treatment protocols using a single water container.
In a preferred embodiment, the stirring unit is shaped like a maple seed. Experiments have shown that a stirrer having such a geomeDK 2019 00005 U1 tri is particularly suitable for creating a vortex of a desirable structure and nature. Studies have shown that such a vortex can be used to reduce the concentration of certain undesirable substances in water.
The water container includes an open container structure. This container structure may advantageously be designed as a pitcher. The pitcher may advantageously be provided with a pour spout so that the treated liquid can be poured directly from the pitcher into e.g. a drinking glass.
The water container comprises a lid adapted to at least partially enclose the opening in the open container structure.
In a preferred embodiment, the lid is designed to enclose the entire opening in the open container structure. This avoids spills while stirring the liquid.
The water tank comprises an electric motor (electric motor) connected to the stirring unit.
In one embodiment, the electric motor is arranged to run on direct current.
In one embodiment, the electric motor is the electric motor a stepper motor.
The water tank comprises an adjustable control unit adapted to control and change the agitation speed of the agitator. The use of an adjustable control unit allows the motor to rotate the speed and thus the stirring speed of the stirrer as well as the duration of one or more stirring periods and any breaks between the stirring periods.
DK 2019 00005 U1
It may be an advantage that the water tank comprises one or more controls which are electrically connected to the control unit so that it is possible to control the control unit via the use of said controls. By controlled is meant functions such as starting the motor and / or changing the frequency at which the motor rotates and / or the duration of the motor's activity.
The controls may be configured as push buttons. Controls may be integrated into a print / cover located on the surface of the lid.
In one embodiment, the water container comprises two controls, each designed as a push button. Each pushbutton is electrically connected to the control unit so it is possible to control the control unit via the use of said pushbutton.
In one embodiment, the water container comprises three controls, each designed as a push button. Each pushbutton is electrically connected to the control unit so it is possible to control the control unit via the use of said pushbutton.
If the water container has three controls, each designed as a push button, the first button may be adapted to initiate a first type of water treatment of specific duration and / or stirring frequency. This first type of water treatment may be intended to treat '' normal water '', such as drinking water tapped from a faucet.
The second button may be adapted to initiate another type of water treatment of specific duration and / or stirring frequency. This other type of water treatment may be intended to treat '' problematic '', such as non-potable water but containing one or more undesirable substances. The third button may be indDK 2019 00005 U1 directed to initiate a third type of water treatment with specific duration and / or stirring frequency. Alternatively, the third button may be arranged to program / set the control unit with respect to the stirring frequencies. In one embodiment, the third button may be arranged to increase or decrease a frequency displayed on a display unit provided in the lid (e.g., a display integrated into the top portion of the lid).
The controls may be configured as one or more receiver units adapted to receive wireless signals transmitted from an external device (e.g., a smartphone).
It may be advantageous for the water container to include a battery which is positioned so that the battery supplies electrical power to the electric motor. As an alternative to a battery, the water container may comprise another energy source (eg a solar cell).
In one embodiment, the water container comprises a power supply adapted to be connected to the mains. In this case, the electric motor can be either an AC motor or a DC motor.
It may be an advantage that the battery is rechargeable and that the water container comprises an electrical plug input arranged to be connected to an external power supply plug, where the electrical plug input is electrically connected to the rechargeable battery so that the rechargeable battery can be charged with electricity from the battery. electrical socket input.
In the case where the water container comprises an electrical connector input adapted to be connected to an external power supply connector, the electrical connector input may advantageously be designed as a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port or mini-USB port, these types of electrical connectors 2019 00005 U1 inputs are widely used and used in many other contexts. It may be an advantage that the controllable control unit is arranged to perform a number of predefined and consecutive stirring phases of varying duration and / or stirring speed.
It is noted that the stirring rate can be zero.
It may be advantageous that a metal screw is provided at the bottom of the open container structure.
In one embodiment, this screw is at least partially made of silver, e.g. a silver-plated screw, with silver exhibiting toxicity to a wide variety of bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi. Furthermore, silver is not toxic to humans and can therefore kill bacteria, viruses, algae and fungi in vitro. In addition, unlike antibiotics, there are very few microorganisms that can develop resistance to silver.
In one embodiment, the metal screw comprises a flat head constituting the lower portion of the open container structure. Hereby a continuous geometry of the lower part of the open container structure is obtained, which has been found to have a beneficial effect on the vortex formation.
It may be an advantage that the water container comprises a foot on which the open container structure is placed. Hereby it is possible to support an open container structure i.a. in cases where the lower part of the container structure is concave (seen from the inside). The foot advantageously has a flat underside that allows it to be placed on a flat surface (eg a countertop).
DK 2019 00005 U1
It may be advantageous for the foot to comprise a cavity in which one or more electrical coils are located. The coils can be used to generate electric fields, which through tests have been shown to influence the treatment process and thus the quality of the treated liquid (water).
In one embodiment, several coils are located in the cavity, the windings made of various metallic materials.
It may be advantageous that the open container structure comprise a concave bottom. It has been shown through experiments that such a geometry is advantageous and optimizes the possibilities of providing effective water purification.
In one embodiment, the concave bottom is egg-shaped, such that the concave bottom is proportioned as one half of a hen's egg.
In a preferred embodiment, the stirring unit is designed as a maple seed coated with silver. This can be advantageous as the silver acts antiseptic.
